A horse doesn’t care how much you know until he knows how much you care.
Put your hand on your horse and your heart in your hand.

Ember Rising "Ember"
Shire Sport Cross
Ember's size is often intimidating, but she has a heart as large as her feet and a truly beautiful soul. Ember joined our family in Fall 2023 after retiring from competitive Eventing. She's also known for her willingness to give beginners a safe, fun horse experience. Ember has a lot to teach humans about boundary setting and limits.
NHF Brixton ~ "Little B"
NM Grade Horse
Little B is a horse with enough staying power to get the job done. I often wish he could talk as I'm sure he has quite the story to tell! I found Little B years ago via a Craiglist posting. Since then, he's played fancy show pony in Missouri, trail horse, and is now loving his job as a therapy pony.
Cocijo de la Luna ~ "Cozy""
Azteca
Cozy has an incredible resume and the biggest personality of any horse I've ever known. He's a shameless extrovert, but has mastered herd leadership in a way that makes him invaluable when it comes to demonstrating positive relationship skills to both humans and horses.
Bluebird Royal Heir ~ "Oz"
American Morgan Horse
Oz was purpose bred in Montana to compete as a sport horse. Now in his twenties he has retired from competitive life and is enjoying his status as our resident Great & Powerful Wizard. Oz never gives anything away for free. You must earn his respect and friendship in the same way he earns yours. But once you've established a working relationship, he's loyal for life.
Packsaddles Gypsy ~ "Sheba"
Appendix Quarter Horse
Sheba earned her name by simply always assuming humans know she is QUEEN. After raising babies for most of her life, Sheba has earned a chance to have her own life just like so many human mothers do. She's a no nonsense girl with a work ethic that puts most humans to shame.
Summerhill Mage Moon ~ "Merlin"
Windy Isles Maid Marion ~ "Maddie"
Connemara Pony
Maddie and her son Merlin joined our family this past summer. Merlin was born in April of 2023 so it will be some time before he can join our therapy team. In the meantime, Mama Maddie is teaching him all of the important skills of being a horse. Though it isn't unusual for colts to be weaned at his age, the skills Maddie can teach him are too important to miss. Having her available to continue his education is invaluable to his development.
